Lunch with Britt was nice today. We haven't hung out or really talked for a couple weeks, so it was fun. Turns out, she already had the books I bought her, but she liked her bag and we enjoyed the pizza and the conversation, so I'm happy. Her brother also thought it would be a good idea to blast us with a nerf gun. As his ammo was styrofoam based, that's just fine. We can always water balloon him at some later date!!
When I got home, I took the laundry off the line and vacuumed the whole house. It all smells so nice and clean! Tomorrow I'll probably Swiff the place, as well as vacuum the rug in the kitchen, which I forgot, being a space cadet and all. When Mom came home from work, we went to Reed Farms in Dighton (Araujo was closed, I'm sad to say) so we could get Warren a rose bush for his house. It's a climbing wild rose, which I felt to be poetically suited to his house--he has a rather large cottage by a lake. It's really very loverly! Rose in trunk, we went to Shaw's to pick up a few groceries and then came home and had dinner outside. It was really such a nice day outside--a true rarity this summer and something to be treasured that's for sure!
